Frequently asked questions
- How often does mBank Retail sync to YNAB?
- Synci polls mBank Retail for new data every 30 to 360 minutes, depending on your plan. Some banks may not support high-frequency sync (30 min). When new transactions or balance changes are found, they are transferred to YNAB within seconds.
- Does mBank Retail support pending transactions?
- Yes — mBank Retail exposes pending transactions, and Synci syncs them to YNAB. When the bank eventually books them, Synci automatically updates the same transactions in YNAB rather than creating duplicates.
- Are mBank Retail credit card accounts supported?
- mBank Retail may not expose credit card accounts through PSD2. If yours does, you'll see them listed when you connect.
- Is my mBank Retail login shared with Synci?
- No. Synci connects to mBank Retail through regulated PSD2 APIs, which means authentication happens on mBank Retail's own login flow. Your bank login credentials are never shared with or stored by Synci.
- Which provider does Synci use to connect to mBank Retail?
- Synci currently connects to mBank Retail through GoCardless, a regulated PSD2 data provider. Providers handle the technical connection to the bank — your login credentials stay between you and mBank Retail.
