Workspace
Sync bank transactions to Notion automatically
Automatically sync your transactions and balances to databases in your Notion workspace.
The template
Synci Finance, a dashboard that fills itself.
A finished personal finance page you duplicate into your own workspace: net worth, spending by category, budgets, a card per month, and savings goals. Every number on it reads from the five databases Synci keeps up to date, so the page is current whenever you open it.
Charts need a paid Notion plan. On the Free plan you get one, and the rest of the page fills in as normal.
What you get
What the template already does.
Six things that work from your first sync. The figures below are an example; yours arrive from your own accounts.
Balance History
Net worth over time
Synci records a dated balance for every account on every sync, so the chart has history to draw from the first week rather than starting the day you set a spreadsheet up. Untick Include in net worth to leave an account out of the total.
Categories
Where the money went
Categories arrive with the transaction, from Synci's enrichment: Groceries, Restaurants, Streaming & subscriptions and the rest of the list, each one filed under a Group such as Needs or Wants. Moves between your own accounts are marked Transfer and left out of the totals.
Budgets
A monthly budget per category
Set a Monthly budget on the categories you care about and each card tracks Spent this month against it. The budget is yours to choose; the spend side keeps itself current as transactions land.
Months
Every month, side by side
One card per calendar month with income, spending and net, plus how the month compares with the one before it. Synci creates each month and files transactions into it, so the history builds itself as it goes.
Transactions
Sorted on the way in
Each transaction lands with its merchant, amount, account and category already set, and the same transaction updates in place when your bank books it. Anything the enrichment could not place goes to Needs review, which is the one list worth keeping an eye on.
Goals
Savings goals that keep score
Goals are the one database Synci does not write, so they stay yours. Link a goal to an account and that balance counts as Saved so far, which means the bar moves when your bank does rather than when you remember to update it.
Why Synci
Can you sync bank transactions to Notion automatically?
Notion has no bank integration of its own, so a finance dashboard there runs on CSV imports that go stale within a week. Synci sits between your bank and your workspace: link your bank once through its own regulated open-banking login, and new transactions and balance updates arrive as pages in your Notion database as they happen.
Duplicate the Synci Finance template for a setup that already has transactions, accounts, categories, and monthly rollups wired together, or point Synci at a database you built yourself. Values land as real Notion properties, dates as dates and amounts as numbers, so your filters, formulas, and rollups keep working. Find your bank below.

FAQ
Common questions
No. Authorize Synci in Notion and you can duplicate the Synci Finance template on the consent screen, pick any page you shared and let Synci create a database inside it, or attach a database you already have and map fields onto its existing properties.
With a plain database, one table of transactions with the properties you chose. With the Synci Finance template, a Transactions database plus Accounts, Categories, Months, and Balance History, related to each other so every transaction rolls up to its account, its category, and its month. Synci can only see and touch the pages you shared with it during authorization.
No. Every page Synci writes carries a Synci ID property, and Synci checks it before creating anything. When your bank books a transaction that was pending, Synci updates the existing page in place rather than adding a second one.
Yes. Properties Synci owns are rewritten on the next sync, so treat those as the bank's version of events, but anything you add yourself, notes in the page body, your own properties, relations to other databases, is left alone. Include in net worth on the Accounts database is set once when the page is created and never overwritten.
Yes. With the template, each connected account gets a page carrying its cleared balance, available balance, currency, and when it last synced, and Balance History keeps a dated row per snapshot, so you can chart a single account or your net worth over time.
Every hour to every 6 hours, depending on your plan. Many banks cap how often they will answer, so accounts at those banks refresh less often. When new data is found at your bank, it is transferred to Notion within minutes.
Bank transactions, balances, and account updates. You control which accounts sync, and rules can transform data before it reaches Notion.
Where your bank supports pending transactions through PSD2, yes. When a pending transaction is booked by the bank, Synci automatically updates it in Notion rather than creating a duplicate.
All 2,900+ European banks Synci supports can sync to Notion. Use the search above to find your bank: each result links to a combo page with setup details.
No. Synci connects to your bank through regulated Open Banking APIs, and authentication happens in your bank's own login flow. Your credentials are never shared with Synci or Notion.
