FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- How often does LBBW sync to YNAB?
- Synci polls LBBW for new data every 30 to 360 minutes, depending on your plan. Some banks may not support high-frequency sync (30 min). When new transactions or balance changes are found, they are transferred to YNAB within seconds.
- Does LBBW support pending transactions?
- Yes — LBBW exposes pending transactions, and Synci syncs them to YNAB. When the bank eventually books them, Synci automatically updates the same transactions in YNAB rather than creating duplicates.
- Are LBBW credit card accounts supported?
- Yes — LBBW credit card accounts can be connected and synced to YNAB alongside your regular accounts.
- Is my LBBW login shared with Synci?
- No. Synci connects to LBBW through regulated PSD2 APIs, which means authentication happens on LBBW's own login flow. Your bank login credentials are never shared with or stored by Synci.
- Which provider does Synci use to connect to LBBW?
- Synci currently connects to LBBW through GoCardless, a regulated PSD2 data provider. Providers handle the technical connection to the bank — your login credentials stay between you and LBBW.
