FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- How often does Société Générale sync to Webhooks?
- Synci polls Société Générale for new data every 30 to 360 minutes, depending on your plan. Some banks may not support high-frequency sync (30 min). When new transactions or balance changes are found, they are transferred to Webhooks within seconds.
- Does Société Générale support pending transactions?
- Yes — Société Générale exposes pending transactions, and Synci syncs them to Webhooks. When the bank eventually books them, Synci automatically updates the same transactions in Webhooks rather than creating duplicates.
- Are Société Générale credit card accounts supported?
- Société Générale may not expose credit card accounts through PSD2. If yours does, you'll see them listed when you connect.
- Is my Société Générale login shared with Synci?
- No. Synci connects to Société Générale through regulated PSD2 APIs, which means authentication happens on Société Générale's own login flow. Your bank login credentials are never shared with or stored by Synci.
- Which provider does Synci use to connect to Société Générale?
- Synci currently connects to Société Générale through GoCardless, a regulated PSD2 data provider. Providers handle the technical connection to the bank — your login credentials stay between you and Société Générale.
