Frequently asked questions
- How often does Cater Allen sync to YNAB?
- Synci polls Cater Allen for new data every 30 to 360 minutes, depending on your plan. Some banks may not support high-frequency sync (30 min). When new transactions or balance changes are found, they are transferred to YNAB within seconds.
- Does Cater Allen support pending transactions?
- Cater Allen may not expose pending transactions through PSD2. Booked transactions are always supported, and are typically available within a day of being processed by the bank.
- Are Cater Allen credit card accounts supported?
- Cater Allen may not expose credit card accounts through PSD2. If yours does, you'll see them listed when you connect.
- Is my Cater Allen login shared with Synci?
- No. Synci connects to Cater Allen through regulated PSD2 APIs, which means authentication happens on Cater Allen's own login flow. Your bank login credentials are never shared with or stored by Synci.
- Which provider does Synci use to connect to Cater Allen?
- Synci currently connects to Cater Allen through GoCardless, a regulated PSD2 data provider. Providers handle the technical connection to the bank — your login credentials stay between you and Cater Allen.
