Frequently asked questions
- How often does Natwest Bankline sync to YNAB?
- Synci polls Natwest Bankline for new data every 30 to 360 minutes, depending on your plan. Some banks may not support high-frequency sync (30 min). When new transactions or balance changes are found, they are transferred to YNAB within seconds.
- Does Natwest Bankline support pending transactions?
- Yes — Natwest Bankline exposes pending transactions, and Synci syncs them to YNAB. When the bank eventually books them, Synci automatically updates the same transactions in YNAB rather than creating duplicates.
- Are Natwest Bankline credit card accounts supported?
- Yes — Natwest Bankline credit card accounts can be connected and synced to YNAB alongside your regular accounts.
- Is my Natwest Bankline login shared with Synci?
- No. Synci connects to Natwest Bankline through regulated PSD2 APIs, which means authentication happens on Natwest Bankline's own login flow. Your bank login credentials are never shared with or stored by Synci.
- Which provider does Synci use to connect to Natwest Bankline?
- Synci currently connects to Natwest Bankline through GoCardless, a regulated PSD2 data provider. Providers handle the technical connection to the bank — your login credentials stay between you and Natwest Bankline.
