Frequently asked questions
- How often does EFG Bank sync to Webhooks?
- Synci polls EFG Bank for new data every 30 to 360 minutes, depending on your plan. Some banks may not support high-frequency sync (30 min). When new transactions or balance changes are found, they are transferred to Webhooks within seconds.
- Does EFG Bank support pending transactions?
- Yes — EFG Bank exposes pending transactions, and Synci syncs them to Webhooks. When the bank eventually books them, Synci automatically updates the same transactions in Webhooks rather than creating duplicates.
- Are EFG Bank credit card accounts supported?
- EFG Bank may not expose credit card accounts through PSD2. If yours does, you'll see them listed when you connect.
- Is my EFG Bank login shared with Synci?
- No. Synci connects to EFG Bank through regulated PSD2 APIs, which means authentication happens on EFG Bank's own login flow. Your bank login credentials are never shared with or stored by Synci.
- Which provider does Synci use to connect to EFG Bank?
- Synci currently connects to EFG Bank through GoCardless, a regulated PSD2 data provider. Providers handle the technical connection to the bank — your login credentials stay between you and EFG Bank.
