FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How often does ANZ sync to Lunch Money?
Synci polls ANZ for new data every 30 to 360 minutes, depending on your plan. Some banks may not support high-frequency sync (30 min). When new transactions or balance changes are found, they are transferred to Lunch Money within seconds.
Does ANZ support pending transactions?
Yes — ANZ exposes pending transactions, and Synci syncs them to Lunch Money. When the bank eventually books them, Synci automatically updates the same transactions in Lunch Money rather than creating duplicates.
Are ANZ credit card accounts supported?
ANZ may not expose credit card accounts through PSD2. If yours does, you'll see them listed when you connect.
Is my ANZ login shared with Synci?
No. Synci connects to ANZ through regulated PSD2 APIs, which means authentication happens on ANZ's own login flow. Your bank login credentials are never shared with or stored by Synci.
Which provider does Synci use to connect to ANZ?
Synci currently connects to ANZ through Akahu, a regulated PSD2 data provider. Providers handle the technical connection to the bank — your login credentials stay between you and ANZ.
