FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How often does Commsec sync to Google Sheets?
Synci polls Commsec for new data every 30 to 360 minutes, depending on your plan. When new balances, holdings, or trades are found, they are transferred to Google Sheets within seconds.
What gets synced from Commsec to Google Sheets?
Account balances, holdings, and historical trades — including dividends and corporate actions where available. You control which Commsec accounts sync, and rules can transform data before it reaches Google Sheets.
Is my Commsec login shared with Synci?
No. Synci connects to Commsec through a secure data provider, which means authentication happens on Commsec's own login flow. Your login credentials are never shared with or stored by Synci.
Which provider does Synci use to connect to Commsec?
Synci currently connects to Commsec through SnapTrade, a secure data provider. Providers handle the technical connection to the brokerage — your login credentials stay between you and Commsec.
