Connect DNB to ChatGPT

Connect DNB in Synci
Select the correct institution and complete DNB’s bank authorization flow. Return to Synci and check which accounts and transactions are available.

Ask a question with a clear scope
From my shared DNB accounts, show last month’s recurring payments and the transactions behind each total. Separate transfers between my own accounts.
What ChatGPT can read
The permitted DNB accounts, their synced balances, and available transactions in a requested date range. It cannot initiate payments, change an account, or see accounts outside your grant. Bank-data access does not imply that the bank exposes its entire product portfolio.
Synci omits sensitive account identifiers from assistant-facing responses. You can revoke assistant access in Synci. The assistant service receives the financial records it reads, so review the accounts you share.
Refresh behavior and history limits
ChatGPT reads data already synced to Synci. Your Synci plan, connection settings, and DNB’s own request limits determine how fresh it is; asking another question does not force a live bank refresh.
Use the initial-history limit above to choose meaningful analysis periods. An assistant cannot recover history the bank has not supplied. Ask it to show the timestamps, date range, and individual transactions behind a total.

- Can ChatGPT see everything in my DNB app?

- Is my DNB login shared with ChatGPT?
- No. Complete the bank authorization outside the chat, then authorize the assistant through Synci. ChatGPT reads the permitted data from Synci and does not receive your bank login.
- Can ChatGPT make payments from these accounts?
- No. Synci’s MCP access is read-only and has no payment or account-changing operations.
- What happens when the bank connection expires?
- Renew the bank authorization in Synci when requested. Until a connection refreshes successfully, the assistant may only have older data available. Check connection status and balance timestamps.
